If you listen to the news these days you could be forgiven for being a bit...
Low Back Pain
Suffering from Lower Back Pain?
If you've never had lower back pain of some sort, you're unusual as it's one of the most common reasons to visit an osteopath. So why do we get it and what can we do to relieve it?
Low Back Pain Causes
Usually, lower back pain is due to an increase or change in physical activity, perhaps a one off strenuous action like lifting a sofa or overdoing it with exercise! It could be due to degenerative conditions (that may only show up as we get older). Poor posture, is another culprit and with more and more of us desk-bound in our jobs it is an increasing cause of pain for many people.
How can Seeing an Osteopath Help?
Firstly, seeing a registered osteopath, means you will get a full professional diagnosis of the problem. This is important, as self diagnosis or guessing at what the problem is might prolong your discomfort.
Once we have diagnosed the issues, we can help you in a number of ways depending on what the problem is. Everything from massage, joint articulation and manipulation, to carefully prescribed exercises to help alleviate the pain. We will even give you advice on how to stop the problem reoccurring.
Do you want to know what is causing your pain and if we can help? Why not take advantage of our new patient consultation introductory offer to get you started towards a tailor made recovery plan for only £19.
Are you in a lot of pain and want to get better as soon as possible? If so the why not book in for a new patient consultation, with treatment on the day, for £60.
